Trout Season 2025 Video Review

 Here is a video montage of every trout I caught last year in chronological order. It was an incredible experience. I caught my first trout of the season on March 29th, the largest Brook trout I’ve ever caught, and my last fish was on October 10th, a 21 inch Rainbow trout, by far the largest trout I’ve ever caught. Twenty seven in all. Some of the smaller ones I’m just as proud of, as they were wild trout caught in tiny isolated streams, often in pools the size of a kids swimming pool. Your shadow and how loud you walk maters with those trout. You’ll get 2-3 casts at most before you spook them into hiding. 

I also enjoyed finding new ways to cook trout

Besides trout, I caught my first (several) catfish, smallmouth bass, and countless crappie, bluegill and yellow perch.
