Hello Swampers! It’s me, One Mat Gang. I’m still alive. I have hijacked GG’s thread. I was going to make a new discussion for once, but GG beat me to it. 

I thought of doing a year in review. But for me that would be short. My year in review: I went fishing. 

This made me think of all the things I learned this year. Fishing made me get out of my comfort zone and try new things. I learned fishing techniques, fish habits and tendencies, knot tying, I learned the exact path of the streams and creeks near me, I learned fishing laws and regulations, gear maintenance, and I learned how to gut and filet fish. It’s been a long time since I’ve pushed myself to learn this much in 8 months. 

My question to you, Swampers: 

What have you learned this year?
