One of my favorite types of music is classic surf music. One of the best known surf bands was The Ventures. I had a Best of cd that I wore out. I was going to replace it when I found they have a box set of 8 classic albums that I was able to buy on Amazon for under $10
After previously only being familiar with their hits like Walk, Don’t Run, Perfidia, and Sleepwalker, I was pleasantly surprised by how good and varied their music is. They had many theme albums, like Mashed Potatoes and Gravy

The Ventures weren’t the only purveyors of classic surf tock. There is Dick Dale, Link Wray, and Duane Eddy
Instrumental music certainly isn’t limited to surf rock. Everyone from jazz, country, pop, and reggae musicians play instrumentals.
